Strasbourg-Ville TGV train station

Strasbourg’s TGV station is located in the heart of the European capital, at the entrance to the historic city centre.

Colmar TGV train station

BY COACH, BY CAR, BY MOTORCYCLE

Alsace is at the crossroads of several motorways:

  • The A4 connects Paris to Strasbourg via Reims and Metz (west-east)
  • The A36 connects Dijon to Mulhouse via Belfort and Besançon
  • The A35 crosses Alsace from north to south, from Germany (via Lauterbourg in the north) to Switzerland (via Saint-Louis in the south)
  • On the German side, the A5 motorway runs from Hessen to Basel via Frankfurt, Mannheim, Karlsruhe, Offenburg, and Freiburg im Breisgau
